About Walk & Talk and Sean, MHC-LP
Feeling stuck, restless or overwhelmed? Let’s build your momentum.
Do you find yourself distracted by constant mental noise — the worry of anxiety, the heaviness of depression, or the fog of indecision? You’re not alone. Many clients arrive here feeling like their emotions are in the driver’s seat. My aim is to help you quiet that internal noise and reclaim the wheel.
I’m Sean Buckley, a Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) under clinical supervision. I offer a professional, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s going on, uncover the strengths you already have, and develop real-world skills for change.
Walk & Talk Therapy: Move the Body, Free the Mind
If you’re tired of the standard— the Zoom fatigue, blue light, constant sitting — then Walk & Talk is the refreshing change you're looking for. When we walk side-by-side, something shifts inside:
-
Ease tension: Walking naturally reduces stress and helps your body release it.
-
Broader perspective: Being outdoors often makes problems feel less overwhelming and offers fresh insight.
-
Action for inaction: When you’re stuck in a loop of thought, movement can unlock mental blockages and spark clarity.

How I Work
My practice is grounded in empathy and genuine connection. I take an integrative approach, applying techniques, concepts and skills from empirically validated modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person Centered Therapy (PCT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I will collaborate with you to build a personalized approach that works best for you.
I specialize in guiding clients through:
-
Life transitions — Going to college, starting a new career, retirement
-
Men’s emotional health & relationship dynamics
-
Anxiety, depression, and grief
-
Substance use, recovery support and creating a life rooted in meaning
You already have the strength to make a change. Let’s get you moving toward a calmer, clearer future. Reaching out isn’t weakness; it’s strength.
